Commemoration of the 11th anniversary of the death of commander Hugo Chávez

Today, March 6, 2024, took place the event to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the death of Commander Hugo Chávez at the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Bucharest, Romania. The event took place at “Casa Oamenilor de Știință”.

The event was attended by several Ambassadors from countries such as Russia, Turkmenistan, Algeria, Turkey, Vietnam, Iran, China, Belarus and a Representative from the Embassy of Palestine. There was also the presence of other entities such as the Roman-Venezuelan Friendship Society and others, as well as the GOUV Representation in Romania and the GOUV Representation in the Middle East and the Arab League, through the High Representative of the GOUV Mrs. Dr. Cerasela Nitu and the President of GOUV, Mr. Me. Marcos Bãdãrãu.

The event featured a speech by His Excellency Ambassador José Sojos and also by Mrs. Maria Luisa Contreras, Representative of the Venezuelan Military Corps. Also speaking at the event was Prof. Dr. Razvan Pantelimon, professor at the University of Constanta, Romania.

The speakers discussed the history and influence of Commander Hugo Chávez in the present day. At the end of the event there was refreshment in a moment of social interaction between the guests and diplomats.
