Today, November 16, 2023, the opening of the new GOUV Representation was made official, which will aim to analyze, cooperate and promote projects in the Middle East and Arab League countries, as well as represent GOUV and its interests in these same countries . The opening took place at 12:00 pm today at the GOUV Commission in Romania, which takes place in Bucharest.
After the opening event, members went to the first GOUV High Representative event which took place at the Venezuelan Embassy in Romania. It was also the place where the signing of the GOUV Official Decree number 0025/112023/G-A1 took place, sanctioning the official opening of the Representation and also the inauguration of the GOUV High Representative for the Middle East and the Arab League, Ms. Mrs. Cerasela Georgioana Nitu.
The General President of GOUV, Mr. Marcos Bãdãrãu, welcomed the new High Representative who will also occupy one of the seats on the GOUV Council for Foreign Relations from November 1st. After the event the GOUV team had a celebratory meeting sponsored by the GOUV Commission in Romania in one of the typical restaurants in the Historic Center of Bucharest, Caru’cu Bere. After the meeting, the team also met to discuss the new projects that are coming and how GOUV can cooperate in humanitarian aid for the current situation of the war between Israel and Palestine.
